Explore the world of contemporary folk traditions at the Royal College of Music Museum’s new exhibition, Shared Airs: Our Thriving Folk Musics. Celebrating how folk musics continue to evolve, live and thrive, the exhibition explores how folk cultures are preserved and reimagined today – from sessions and ceilidhs to festivals and digital spaces. Co-curated with musicians and researchers, it brings together historic and contemporary instruments, songbooks and collections from the English Folk Dance and Song Society, and stories from folk communities alongside a range of events. https://www.rcm.ac.uk/events/?filters=1&tag=%20Shared%20Airs
