King Stone Rapper were a mixed dance side based in and around Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, who danced the traditional village dances of the north-east of England as collected and recorded in the early twentieth century by Cecil Sharp. Their name is taken from the King Stone, a solitary standing stone comprising part of the prehistoric complex known as the Rollrights. King Stone also did a mumming play. They practiced on Monday nights in Chipping Norton.

We believe they are currently disbanded - if you know any different then This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
